The Dominic Badami that Lisa Marie (my first cousin) mentions was my grandfather, estranged to my father Michael and his brother Charles, who grew up in Rockaway Beach, Brooklyn. As far as I can tell he had at least five sons and two daughters, but possibly another son, also named Charles, that would be the eldest, but most estranged from the group. His mother was Antoinette who purportedly survived the Titanic. I am close to finding the name of her husband, my great grandfather, from the Ellis Island site.

Dominic was one of twelve children, to include Rose and Frank. There was a "legendary" family rift that left the majority of the siblings no longer speaking. The Badamis in the United States that are primarily disjointed from group to group are related as close as first and second cousins, due to this falling out.

If anyone wishes to contact me to discuss any of this further, please feel free to e-mail me at slowhand_6@hotmail.com .

Hi Lisa Marie and Jill!
