John G. and Stientye (Cordes) Badberg immigrated from Hanover, Germany and settled in Otoe County. They had eleven children, George, Henry, Mary, Herman, Harm, Maria, Schwantka and John H and three others. John H. was married, in Otoe County, to Miss Minnie Lohmiller, and they became the parents of six children, Anna B., Christian, Henry, John, Herman and William. Herman Badberg married, Bertha Imig of Sewerd County, and they became the parents of three children, Helen, Carl, Mattie. Helen married Lloyd Melvin Nelson and they became the parents of: Conrad Lloyd, Bonita Mae, and Donna. Conrad married Myrna Gertlar and they became the parents on me, Danny L.Nelson and Curtis Z. Nelson.
