According to 1920 census she came from Berlin in 1862 (family said she was 16 months old) and was naturalized in 1882 when she married Carlton Victer Hart on January 10, 1882 in Erie Co., Ohio (probably Sandusky).       <description>Almont Herald January 27, 1921 Lapeer County, Michigan&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mary Bade&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Betker, on Wednesday, January 19, 1921.  The funeral was held at the house on Saturday.  Rev. W. I. Moore officiating, with interment in the Almont cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mary Stumke was born in Germany Jan. 21, 1857, and came to this country in 1872, and was united in marriage to Frank Bade in 1875.  To this union were born four daughters, two of whom are living:  Mrs. Frank Bekter, of Almont, and Mrs. Wm. Bowers, of Imlay City.  Besides her daughters she leaves seven grandchildren to mourn her loss.&lt;br&gt;</description>

Bade, 83, of 401 W. 2nd St., a retired hotel worker, died Sunday, May 26, 1996, at Good Samaritan Center.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Sophie Christenson was born February 11, 1913, in Renner, South Dakota, where she attended school.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She married Cecil Bade on January 27, 1932 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She worked in the banquet department of the Cataract Hotel from 1958 to 1972. Her husband died in March 1960. From 1972 until her retirement in 1982, she worked at Howard Johnson's. She lived most of her life in Sioux Falls.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mrs. Bade was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral and the Altar Society.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She is survived by three sons: Brian of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Daniel and Gregory, both of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Peterson of Orange, California.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Barnett-Lewis Funeral Home, Sioux Falls, South Dakota&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;IN MEMORY&lt;br&gt;Sophie L.       <description>Argus Leader, Sioux Falls, South Dakota&lt;br&gt;March 25, 1960&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Cecil J. Bade 52, Dies While Driving Car&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral Mass will be said at 8:300 Monday morning at St. Joseph's Cathedral for Cecil J. Bade, 52, Renner, who died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital. Mr. Bade suffered a heart attack while driving his car on W. Russell street Thursday.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The body will lie in state from Saturday noon to the funeral time at Barnett Funeral Home. Rosaries will be said at the funeral home Sunday night at 7:30 by Knights of Columbus and at 8 by the parish. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Bade was born in Plankinton on Nov. 19, 1907. He moved to Sioux Falls in 1919 and attended Cathedral High School. He married Sophie Christenson in Sioux Falls on Jan. 27, 1932.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The couple moved to California in 1940. Five years later, they moved to Spearfish. The moved to Renner in 1955 where Mr. Bade operated a sheet metal shop until August 1959. At that time he opened a sheet metal ship in Salem.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Bade was a member of St. Joseph's Cathedral parish and belonged to Marquette Council, Knights of Columbus.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The widow; four sons, Bruce, Brian, Gregory and Daniel, all of Renner, and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Matthews, Tacoma, Wash., survive. A son died in 1939.&lt;br&gt;</description>

Bade, 61, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994 at Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Bade was born April 11, 1933, in Sioux Falls. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He was employed as a sheet-metal worker and estimator with Tessier's for 33 years.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He married Kay Bornholdt on June 27, 1970, in Sioux Falls.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He was a member of the American Legion; Verterans of Foreign Wars; Moose Lodge; Knights of Columbus; and the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He is survived by heis wife, Kay of Mitchell; one stepdaughter, Mrs. William (Daw) Underwood of Clements, Minn.; three stepgrandchildren; his mother, Sophie Bade of Sioux Falls; and three brothers: Brian of Rapid City and Greg and Daniel, both of Sioux Falls.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell, with burial in the American Legion Cemetery.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Will Funeral Chapel in Mitchell.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Scripture serices will begin at 7 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.&lt;br&gt;------------&lt;br&gt;Memorial Card &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In Memory of &lt;br&gt;BRUCE E.       <description>Carl Frederick Bade was born March 23, 1841 in Potsdam, Germany and died March 1912 in Chicago. He married Charlotte Dorthea Laase July 1868 in Cleveland Ohio. Carl came to America in 1862. Charlotte came in 1866.They had 9 children. They are buried in Concordia Cemetery in Forest Park, Chicago, Ill. They are my husband's great grandparents and would love more info. We do have a picture of them. Will share any family info I have if you are interested.</description>
