I received an email from a 19 year old boy in France. He found a military bag with the name of Victor S. Badgley stenciled on it. He included a picture of the bag with his email. His email address is kisscooll37@hotmail.fr if you would like to contact him. Here is part of the email he sent me:

Dear Sir,

sorry for my approximative english because i live in French (Tours, Indre et loire).

I'm 19 years old and i'm very interested by the second world war.
I have found a bag, and it written above this inscription:

Victor S; Badgley

the pictures are attached

I'd like to know if this person is of your familly and if you can send me information of this man when he was in the Us army.

VICTOR STATEN Badgley, b. December 11, 1908; d. January 07, 1985, Tampa, Florida. Son of Benjamin Franklin Badgley.
