Hello - Not sure if I have located your Badley, but I do have information about Edmund Charles Badley born 1843. He lived in Mississippi and Texas.

This branch of the family frequently used the spelling: Baddley. However the legal name was always Badley.

If you are interested, let me know.

Charles "Charlie" Badley

I have lost my great-great grandfather, Charles Badley. I don't know if he died in Mississippi, Texas or on his way to Texas. I have no idea where he is buried.

He married Frances J. Lee on 8 July 1868 in Watervalley, Mississippi. They had three children, Harry, Stephen Richard and Mary Frances "Molly". Frances and the children ended up in Texas.

Stephen Richard Badley married Georgia Baldwin. They both died along with most of their children during the Flu outbreak in 1919 in Weatherford, Texas

Mary Frances "Molly" Badley married William Alexander Coleman in 1888. She died in 1960 in Burleson County, Texas.
She and William had five children.

Any information would truly be appreciated.

Minor Arlando Badley & Laura Johnson Koob

Posting this in hopes of finding someone with knowledge of Minor Arlando BADLEY. Born 4 October 1862 at Sedgewick, Kansas. Son of John Nelson BADLEY and Mary Ann Margaret WELLS. He married Laura JOHNSON 07 November 1888 at Wichita, Kansas. They were the parents of four (4) known children, only two (2) surviving to adulthood:

male BADLEY, name unknown (died young)
Alma BADLEY b. Aug 1893, Kansas
Bessie BADLEY b. Feb 1896, Kansas
? BADLEY, name unknown (died young)

Laura JOHNSON BADLEY is shown in 1915, obtaining a divorce from Minor Arlando BADLEY, in Wichita, Kansas. The children stayed with her.

Minor was last known to be in Roy, Hardin County, New Mexico. He died there: 16 February 1940. He is buried with the correct spelling of BADLEY, however, it is possible that the children's names were spelled BRADLEY, or may have used their mother's maiden name of JOHNSON, or may have used their step-father's name of KOOB.

I am still re4searching that part of my family so I'm not sure how much info I can give you, you probably know more than me!!
As far as certificates go the only ones I have are of Charles marriage certificate and my grandmothers (charles daughters) birth certificates.
I am hoping to get more soon.
The only photos i have are of my grandmother, unfortunatly I dont have any of my g grandfather or grandmother.

Yes it is the same family. James Walter Bartlam was the brother of your Charles. Are you interested in exchanging family history data? Do you have any BDM certificates or photos of the family you would like to exchange with me?

I am Bartlam descendant.
My grandmother was Carey Bartlam, daughter of Charles William Bartlam who was the son of James Bartlam & Harriet (Alsop) all from the Wolverhampton area.

I'm here in Idaho looking for information on Ellen Badley who married Jack Badley in about 1969 in Idaho or Nevada and then moved to Florida. I am Jack's son-Orland. I do not show a Anne Badley married to Marcus Webb, in my records or The Bicentennial Book of Badleys. We do have several Annes. Do you have a full name? Or possibly a location of the wedding?

One note: All Badleys, (my Father-in-law told me) worldwide, are related. In all my years of research, I have never found it not to be true.
