Do you have any further infomation about Lousia schuler? or the schuler family? I have a Gustave Schuler living with Ludwig and Fredrecka and Carl Schuler in Hubbard, Dodge County WI. (US Fed Census 1880). The family bible states that Gustave was born in Hubbard, Dodge County wisconson 1882. Family stories say that possibly he (Gustave) went to an orpahage or left home at an early age. And possibly something about a fatal accident involving one the parents. I noted the New york passenger list shows a Ludwig Schuler, Fredericka, Lousia, william and Carl traveling from Hamburg to New york Arriving 16 nov 1872. Everyones' birth date corresponds between the census and the passanger manifest. Also the 1905 Wisconson state Census list Ludwig Schueler living with a Samuel Bachler and Laura (Louisa) Bachler
Ludwig Schueler is listed as father to head of house. I assuming that would be Louisa.
