Edward L. Baer, 62, of Hampton, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at his residence. He was born April 4, 1945, in Greenville to the late Edward J. and Ruth (Proper) Baer and was a Vietnam veteran who served with the Air Force Engineers in Thailand. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia (Keefe) Baer; daughters, Trista N. (Daren) Rodriguez, of Ross, Megan N. (Scott) Gracie, of Butler, and Magill D. Baer, of Cranberry; grandsons Nathan Edward and Asher Logan Rodriguez; granddaughter Hayden Ruth Gracie, and brother, Jon Baer, of Virginia. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the HERBERT R. KING JR. FUNERAL HOME INC., Route 8 at 2841 Woodland Circle, Hampton, where services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Regis Farmer officiating. Interment with military honors in Mars Cemetery, Adams.
