Thank you so very much for offering information regarding Kari. Since my posting of June 26, I found her obituary which answered my remaining questions. A question I do have, however, is if anybody knows if Kari had a TWIN brother named Ole Vetlesen (Vetleson, or Torjuson, or Torgerson, depending on the spelling). The 1850 census for the "Watteley Thurstin" (Vetle Torjussen - the name was horribly misspelled!) family in LaGrange Township, Walworth Co., WI, shows Caroline "Thurstin" (Kari Torjusson or Torgerson) age 3 and a brother Ola "Thurstin" (Ole), also age three. I was also wondering if any photos of Kari Bagaason exist...I'd love to have somebody email a jpeg photo of my great-great grandmother's (Anna Karine Vetleson Indahl's) sister. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

I have information on the Ole O. Bagaason and wife Kari. My great - greatgrandfather was one of his older brothers. I would be happy to share info with you if you are interested.

I'm wondering if there are any descendants of Norwegian immigrant, Ole Bagaason (Bagaasen; b. 1841; d. 25 Jan 1918, Riceland, Freeborn, MN) and his wife, Kari Vetleson Bagaasen (b. 5 Apr 1847, Walworth County, WI; d. 15 Feb 1936 in Lerdal, Freeborn, MN)?
