I see you have the Alessi family in your tree as well. My great-grandfather was "Arthur" Alessi. He had my grandmother, Frances in 1925, but she had a half sister, Dorothy, in 1918. My grandmother passed away in 1992, but we have always been facinated my this mystery man Arthur. He died in 1931 at the approximate age of 36 and after my great grandmother remarried there was rarely any talk or knowledge of Arthur. My grandmother never saw Dorothy again. I have only been able to locate "Arthur" in the 1920 and 1930 census and his death certificate is filed in NYC. (I ordered a copy). Arthur said he was born in NYC (Kings County) and outside of the 20 and 30 census, he shows up no where. BUT, Achilli Alessi does. He appears in the 1900 and 1910 census and then is missing from the household in 1920 (Many of his siblings are still listed). Achilli's parents were Alexander and Frances Alessi. This is how I found your tree...seems as though they are connected somehow. Neither Achilli or Arthur completed a WWI Draft card, but "Archie" Alessi did. So I am starting to think that Achilli, Archie and Arthur may all be the same person. Coincidentally, my grandmother's name was Frances, the same as Achilli's mother. Dorothy's mother's name was Catherine, however Dorothy was living with Arthur and my great grandmother in 1930, so that would lead me to believe that Catherine either walked away or died. So my assumptions would be that Dorothy went on to live with the Alessi's after Arthur's death. I know I spilled alot of info here...but if anyone has any information, I would greatly appreciate it!
