My husband John Leidner is the great-grandson of Thomas F Gessner and Alice Bagur. We recently received old family documents including an undocumented chart showing descendents of Catherine Torrenti. It states she was married "thrice". Her 1st marriage was to a Bagur and they had one son Pierre who married twice. Pierre married 1st Joanna Pons and they had 2 ch. Catherine (m Gailliatt) and Madelene (never married). Pierre married 2nd Ernestine Cornibe and they had 9 ch. --- Albert, Jules, Pierre, Bertha, Marie, Ernest, Bertha, Alice and Louis. The 3rd marriage of Catherine Torrenti is not listed. Alice Bagur, our common ancestor, married Thomas F. Gessner and we have several documents relating to the Gessner family. I will be adding this (slowly) to the records I have on my genealogy program. Do you know anything about Catherine Torrenti? I have her referenced in shared information from family members, but have never been able to find anything. documented about her birth, marriages, or death.
