I was very interested in your message. BAJATA is my maiden name. I was born and I'm living in Marseille (France), but my family lived for at least three generations in Tunisie. I saw they came from Trapani (Sicilia) but I did'nt know the family's origine were from Malta. BAJATA, BAIADA and BAJADA is the same name. It appears under the three ways in my family. I thought the name was from spanish origine... don't you think so ? I apologize for my English. Are you interested on these elements ?
