BAIGENT

I have tried to order the birth certificate for my Grandmother Emily Baigent c1903, she was born at 38 Richmond Grove, Surbiton, Surrey. The GRO have emailed me advising of a refund as they cannot find this. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem and whether I can get over it in any way?

Alan Baigent

Hello, I have two wonderful old photo's of a little boy-Alan Baigent, One like a little school photo, the other holding the hand of my second cousin Susan. These were taken in I think Worthing/Sussex England. In my Granny's writing says Alan Baigent Our little Foster Boy 1947-1948. This little boy stayed with my Granny, my Mum's Mother, Nellie May Predeth and family during this time. Just wanting to know if any family out there, perhaps you would like these lovely photo's. Cheers, Anne

I am working on the Baigent tree at the moment and have a lot of information about the Windlesham families. I have connections with the Bowyer family too. You may well have the answer to our question, but according to my records Thomas Baigent is indeed the older brother of Edward who went to Wakefield. One of my ancestors went to Wakefield with him.

Please let me know if you are still interested,
Best wishes

Davina Byrne

Im trying to find information on my great grandmother Beatrice Maude Baigent. I have a copy of my grandfathers birth certificate and I can not work out if the spelling to the surname, either Baigent or Baigont.

Beatice was born approximately 1887-1888 in Wimbledon Surrey England, She married Harry Munnoch on the 22nd January 1910 in Wimbledon Surrey England. They migrated to Australia inbetween 1910-1913. (I can not find them on ship records)

Beatrice and Harry had five children, Philip (unknown where he was born) Violet born 1913 Sydeny Australia, Joffre (my grandfather) born 27th April 1915 Lewisham New South Wales Australia, Kevin born Sydney Australia and Wilkie born in Australia. (Philips surname was miss-spelt either on his birth certificate or on his marriage certificate, Should be spelt Munnoch, miss-spelt Munnock).

If you have any information on my great grandmother or on anyone else in my family, please email me. I would appreciate any help you maybe able to provide me with.

Regards
Tamara Munnoch
apple2@iprimus.com.au
