Also surviving are two daughters, Leah Sizemore of Woodstock, Ga., and Kristie Snyder of Cartersville, Ga.; six sisters, Dorothy Counts, Delcie Bias, Sandy Ball and Danita Seay, all of Logan, Faye Adkins of Barboursville and Nina Hill of Woodstock; and three brothers, Kenneth Seay and Randy Seay, both of Logan, and Danny Seay of Barboursville. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Emmazetta; great grandsons, twins Matthew and David Bailey and John Edward Napier, Jr.; brother Ercle Chinn, stepbrother Abe Goodman and a sister Louise Rickman. Survivors include her husband of 75 years, Charles M. Bailey, Sr.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles M. Preceding her in death was her only son, Danny L. Bailey, who welcomed her with open arms. Surviving is her loving husband, Harry L. Bailey. The Lord allowed him to have her for 58 years of their lives, and throughout those years, her husband stood by her unconditionally. BAILEY, 82, of Huntington, was reunited with his loving wife of 58 years, his only son Danny Leaberry Bailey and a special nephew and fishing buddy, Stephen Lee Henderson, on Saturday, August 6, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Thomas Henderson; burial will follow in Dock's Creek Cemetery, Kenova. Harry was born Feb. 3, 1923, in Huntington, a son of the late Lewis and Georgia Simmons Bailey. He was a retired employee of the former Houdaille Industries and a U.S. Army Veteran and a P.O.W. during WWII. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Tony Thompson of Proctorville, Ohio, and Becky and Darren Morgan of South Point, Ohio, with whom he made his home; one daughter-in-law, Denna Thomas Bailey of Ashland; two grandchildren, Tammy McCoy Bailey of Huntington and Madison Olivia Morgan of South Point; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, James and Loretta Henderson and Thomas and Sue Henderson all of Huntington; one sister-in-law, Gladys Hood of North Matewan, W.Va. The family would like to say thank you to Dr. Sara Bowman-Allman of the VAMC and to the staff of St. Mary's Medical Center for the care they provided. A special word of thanks to Uncle Tom and Aunt Sue for their unconditional love and support. 'We love you.'' He was 99 years, 3 months and 17 days of age and was a servant of the Lord for more than 80 years. Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Reger Funeral Home. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reger Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Roger Mooney, the Rev. Tom Jones and the Rev. Harry Adkins. Burial will be at Spring Valley Memory Gardens. He was preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Emaline Chinn Bailey on July 7, 2002; his parents, Milton and Callie Bailey; brothers the Rev. John D., Frank, Paul and Lloyd; sisters Devetta Bailey and Juanita Byrd, and three great-grandsons. Charlie was a lifelong resident of Huntington. He retired in 1969 as owner of Bailey Stone and Contracting. He was a Sunday School superintendent at Kellogg Holiness Church for more than 40 years, where the Rev. Roger Mooney is the pastor. He attended Catlettsburg Pentecostal Tabernacle where the Rev. Tom Jones is the pastor. Survivors include three children: daughter and son-in-law Maxine and Charles Childers, with whom he resided in South Point, Ohio; sons and daughters-in-law Charles and Betty Bailey, Jr. and Carl and Juanita Bailey, both of Huntington, W.Va. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren and special friend Harry Adkins. Pallbearers will be his grandson and great-grandsons. The family wants to give a special thank you to Hospice of Huntington for all their assistance and a special thank you to a host of friends and family.
