Sorry it's taken so long to respond. Just getting back into the research again. I ordered my grandmother's birth certificate and it says her mother's maiden name is Bailiff (Sarah Ellen) born Jan 4, 1897. On Sarah's marriage certificate it states her father as James Bell Bailiff and all I know is her mother's name was Ellen, no maiden name.
Let me know if these names look familiar or if you require more info...crossing my fingers!
