We are desperately seeking any details for Stephen Bailiff born at Whitehaven, Cumberland, UK. His parents were William Bailiff and Mary ????. He had two sisters who both came to Australia in 1832. These sisters were also born at Whitehaven: Elizabeth Bailiff born 1811 and Jane Bailiff born May 17th 1817. Stephen was a mariner and we believe his father William was a sailor of Lancaster.
