My Bailey family came from Cherokee Co. Alabama. John Thomas Bailey was originally from Greene Co. NC and moved to Ala. in the 1840's. He married Sarah Boorlen McClung (from Tenn.) and they had 13 children. Don't know if there's a connection there, but thought I'd share.
