Am looking for more family history and ancestry of James C. Baines of Pittsburgh, b. abt 1837, died 1883. He married Rachel L. Bown.
His father was Joseph Baines. Joseph was born in the UK about 1809 and he might have had a brother who came over with him from England.
Joseph married Jane Carnahan. They lived in Allegheny County and later in Pittsburgh.
