I am looking for information on E. F. Bair. The only definite information I have on him is that he married Viola Snyder October 31, 1889 in Darke, Ohio. I can find nothing on him at all. They had 1 daughter named Mildred. She married Ira Metzcar in Darke, Ohio. I have Viola passing in 1898 and their daughter Mildred is living with Viola's mother in the 1900 census. Family stories say both parents died young but there is nothing on E. F. Also, the family has him listed as Elmore Franklin, but I have no proof that is really his name. He is listed as E.F. on the marriage license and on Viola's headstone. As far as I can tell, he is not buried in the same cemetery as his wife. There is only a transcription on the headstone of "Viola, wife of E. F." I also can not find either one of them on any census records. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this "branch" of my family is about to drive me insane.
