Janet Baird b 28 Aug 1838 in Old Cumnock Ayrshire Scotland was my Great Grandmother. Her father John Baird died 12 Jan 1888 but I'm not sure where! I do not know her mothers name. Janet Baird married William Smith b 19 Jan 1833 in West Calder Midlothian Scotland. They came to Kansas City Mo in 1883 with 4 children: Robert, Margaret, Janet and John. My Grandfather James Smith was born 18 Aug 1884 at Westport Landing Jackson County Kansas City Mo. Any connection there???
