NORTH LIMA, OH –Mary Baird, 95, died on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at Ivy Woods Manor.
Mary was born Aug. 24, 1917, in HawkRun, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Petrick Tablack.
She had worked for many years as an Avon Rep and was an Avon President’s Club member.
She volunteered at Western Reserve Care Center for many years and also worked in the gift shop.
She was a past Secretary of the Struthers, Ohio AARP, and a Past President of the Lowellville Park Apartments.
She will always be remembered for her family Thanksgiving Day gathering.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Susan) Baird of Poland, Ohio, Barbara (Randy) Smith of Canton, Ohio and Mary Kathleen (Barry) Moore of New Middletown, OH; a brother, John Tablack; her grandchildren, Amy Nivert, Joseph (Sharon Nivert), Emily Baird (Justin) Stoll, Mitchell Baird, Dennis Zitello, and Kenny (Pam) Zitello; her great-grandchildren, Christian and Conner Mayfield, and Spencer James Zitello; and many nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Baird, whom she married Jan. 20, 1946, and he died May 20, 1961; two brothers, Sam and George Tablack; and a sister, Anne Mattis.

A Divine Liturgy service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at noon at the Infant Jesus of Prague Byzantine Catholic Church in Boardman, Ohio
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11:15 a.m. at the Kirila Funeral Home Inc., 258 Poland Ave. in Struthers, Ohio.
The funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 11:15 a.m. for the service at the Infant Jesus of Prague Church.
Burial will be at St. John Cemetery.
