Hi!1
I believe I am descended from the said Johannes Adam
Herman. Trace my ancestors to columbiana county Ohio. I have no definite link to Johanes Adam family but much
circumstantial evidence. I would love to have any information on his descendents. How can I obtain? How much
is cost?
Thanks! jm harmon
Hoping to make contact....
My Niedringhaus great-grandfather married Sophia Boesch from Ahlsen #9 near Hullhorst where we found records from the Evangelical Lutheran church in Hullhorst. The marriage certificate does not show the mothers of the bride and groom; this wedding was in 1840. Father of the bride was Henry Herman Boesch; father of the groom was Christian ? Niedringhaus, deceased, of Oberbauerschaft. Would love to connect.
Kathryne Burton mkburt2002@yahoo.com

Thank you for posting this information about the BAISCH bottle. From what I know about this BAISCH family, I don't believe this has anything to do with my family since my BAISCH family was from the Ohio area. I appreciate your taking the time to post this. Perhaps, someone else may have a connection to this family.

Sincerely,

Pamela WELLS nee ROBERSON

My maternal G-Grandfather was Christian Ost, born 1840 in Kloestitz, Bessarabia, married to Karolina Wolt, of Kloestitz. Their daughter, Catherina, born 1866, married Adam Baisch, born 1857. Catherina & Adam were born in Kloestitz. They emigrated to Krem (a nonexistent town now) in Mercer Co., ND. They had about 11 children. Are these your relatives, too? Please post reply! Thanks!

In reply to your request on Maria Regina: I am not directly descended from the Baisch family. My cousin (Katharina Ost) married into that family in the mid-1880s in Bessarabia, so I have many Baisch cousins. You may want to check out this website. It is put together by Ingrid Reule, who has posted the information she has collected from documents. Kloestitz was a village in Bessarabia, where my family and the Baischs settled. You may find some information about your Baisch family on the site. I am sorry that I couldn't be of more help. Have a great trip to Germany and good luck with your geneaology search! http://www.kloestitzgenealogy.org/index.htm

Dear Pamela,
You are most welcome! I hope the Kloestitz site helps. After I posted my previous reply, I realized I should have sent you this site address, as well. It is the search site for the Odessa Group, which is a digital library of German-Russian information. I am certain you will find Baisch family information here also, as I have with my own family. http://www.odessa3.org/search.html Sincerely, Edith

Hi Jeannette,
I checked through all of my BAISCH records, including a whole separate set that I have not yet linked my line to. I have 4 Elizabeth BAISCH records, but none are yours:
Elisabeth BAISCH born 12 Apr 1827, Hedelfingen
Elisabeth Katherina, b. 22 Mar 1814, Hedelfingen
Elisabetha Regina, b. 16 Mar 1801,
Hedelfingen
Eliza, b. 1862, Ohio

The three records from Hedelfingen I extracted myself from original LDS microfilms and are not likely in the IGI or other public records yet. It may be important, given German naming customs, to know that a number of Elizabeth's came from the Stuttgart/Necker River area. Or maybe it isn't! That's what makes the search so fun and frustrating at the same time. I'll keep my eyes open for earlier Elizabeth Baischs.

Regards,
Gary
