MARGARET BAKALAR

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's Evangelical Lutheran Church for Margaret Bakalar, 89, of Fort Wayne. She died Sunday in her home.

Mrs. Bakalar was a former caterer at the Fort Wayne Women's Club and the Fort Wayne Country Club.

Surviving are three sons, Nestor A., of Hawaii, Theodore of Venice, Fla., and Gerald J., of Fort Wayne; five daughters, Ruth J. Lynch, Eleanor Andrews, Marion V. Wagner and Norma L. Custard, all of Fort Wayne, and Lorena Mell, of Battle Creek, Mich.; and a sister, Leona Forney, of Denver, Colo.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home; 1140 Lake Ave., or after 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are gifts to the church.
