Mrs. Susanna Bakalar's Life Brought to Close.
...died this morning at ..807 Johnson street, after an illness of six weeks with stomach and liver troubles.
Mrs. Bakalar, who was 63 years old, was a native of Austria Hungary, but came to the United States fifteen(?) years ago and has since resided in Streator.
The maiden name of the deceased was Katus. Her husband died about twenty years ago in the old country. Mrs. Bakalar was the mother of seven children, three of whom--Andrew Bakalar and Andrew Zack, both of Streator, and Mrs. Susan Dravik in Austria-Hungary--and a brother, John Katus, of this city, survive. Mike Katus, of this city and John Katus, of Minnesota, are nephews of the dead woman.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon, with services at 2 o'clock at the Slavish Lutheran church and interment in Riverwood cemetery.
