My branch of the family descends from Gilbert Jane Bake, Quakers who immigrated from Yorkshire, England, in 1831 with 4 sons (Gilbert, William, John, and Joseph). They settled in Westmorelamd County, PA, but many of them moved west to Jefferson County, OH in the late 1800s. I am searching for information on ancestors and siblings of Gilbert Bake in Yorkshire and on related immigrant families.
