Earliest info I have re Christian Bake is through John Bake -- John Bake, eldest child of Christian Bake, born March 14, 1748 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He was called into service during the Revolution and in the New Jersey Militia fighting in the Battle of Germantown and crossed the Delaware with General Washington; served as a Private under Captain Phillips in Col. Chamberlain's Co. Served a total of 1 year, 10 mos. and 8 days cir. 1778. His service record is in the National Archives No. 531538. The DAR number is 397875. John listed in the 1800 census of York Co., PA as living in Paradise Twp. His brother George was also living there. Family moved to Northumberland Co. in central Pennsylvania. They sold land on August 4 1807 and went to Ohio. Went to Butler Co. Ohio. Then John moved to Richland Twp. in Fountain Co. in Indiana near IL border. Died in October of 1838, buried in Baptist Cemetery near Newtown in Richland Twp, Franklin Co. Wife was Elinor. Does this fit into your Jeremiah's chart? Most of the family Bible names follow the family of Jacob Bake, whose father was John Bake.
