My father did live in NC, but I am sorry to say both my mother (Mary Ann Bake(Frisz)and father are both passed away now. I am just starting to focus more time, and with two in diapers.. finding the time is the hardest part.
I have found lots of references with the Bake name, quite shocking really as I thought we were a rather small group.
