Yes, I've looked at all his research and Website! I've considered trying to contact your family as I think Earl Allen Bake lived near my son in N.C. I'm in GA. now though my Bake mother was born in PA. I've been researching quite intensely for past 2 years and have had great good fortune and help from some wonderful related people in England. Because of a medical situation that just started for me, I'll be a bit sporadic in my ability to correspond this year. There are also 3 other distant cousins I've found through this same posting as you found that are also very interested as they have time.
I do have some info that disagrees with what was posted online at the Website. I also just got a whole CD of data from a cousin that I haven't been able to look at yet. I'll try to get back into the detail to refresh myself before I correspond much. You may email me directly if you care to.
I've worked on other lines as well such as Gilbert Bake's (b. 1772) wife Jane Myers for one. Also Buck, Hardcastle, Whitely are others. There are so many Gilbert & William Bakes back to 1580-90s that I have to date their birth when I mention them. I think the names have finally died out in my line.
Thanks for writing! I'm sure we can get coordinated in our data.
