My husband, George Hollis, believes through family info that he is related to Zebidiah Baker and his wife, Hannah Grinder. Hannah was born in Tennessee July 29, 1824 and died January 22, 1900 and is buried in the family plot along with Zebidiah on the old Jasper Baker farm which is a few mies west of Marshall, Arkansas. We believe Hannah might be the granddaughter of Robert Grinder, Sr. the proprietor of Grinder Stand where Meriwether Lewis died in 1809. We also have been told that she was part indian, either Cherokee or Chickasaw. Any info you might add would be appreciated.
