Hi Lee:

I realize that this is an old message, but just wanted to let you know that my Baker's decended from Frances Baker and Isabel Twining that came over from St Alban's Hertfordshire, England in 1635 on the Planter. I actually sent my Dad's DNA into Ancestry and found that according to the result, we decend from Frances. My gggrandfather was John William Baker, born 1825 in Ausable Forks, Essex, NY who married Ede Curtis, born 1840 in Jay, Essex, NY, father Thomas Curtis and Philena Emmons. They had 3 children, John Melancton Baker (my g grandfather), married Francis Simmons, Eva Jane Baker married Van Curen Hodgson, and Edsom Seymour Baker, who only lived for 2 years. I have knowledge of my ggg grandfather, but trying to prove it is not easy. There were Francis decendance in Schroon Lake (came around 1800), Washington County. An interesting thing my husband found was that the Francis Baker's are related to the wife of Winston Churchhill. Pretty interesting huh? If you would like to contact me, you can email me at jantaync@bellsouth.net.

Any help I can give, please let me know. Janet (Baker) Taylor
