I have cousins in the Goldsmith family tree who are Sylvia Bakst of the Granit Hotel,sister Miriam Bakst who marries Mr. Rosenthal,and had two kids,sister Ray Bakst who marries Jacob Cohen to run two hotels in NJ. They are the children of Chemke and Francis Bakst. He dies in Europe in Ivie,or Vilna.
