I don't know if you had seen this or not. He is living in the 24th ward. He is partners in a restaurant, having immigrated to America in 1913 and became a citizen in 1919.

I found her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She was my grandmothers aunt.
She is the daughter of Stanislaus A. Roeske and Bertha F. Dragosch. Her siblings were my great grandfather John Charles Roeske, Clara (Roeske) Weiser, Anna A. (Roeske) Paepke (wife of Frank), Joesph who died 2-19-1948, and Mary (Roeske) Whittlock who died 12-29-1937. I haven't found where Mary and Joesph died. I figured some of that out with Anna's obit.

Hi there! Hedwig Baldi is my Great Grandma on my moms side. I don't know much about Angelo or Hedwig's relatives but I am searching the internet for as much as I can find. I know her name is Hedwig Bertha Baldi, maiden name was Roeske or Roiski, not sure on the spelling. Have you discovered any more info on her yet?

I am looking for info on Joseph Baldi born abt. Jan 1856 in Italy and living in Eveleth, St. Louis, MN in 1920. I have him living on the Iron Range in 1900. I am hoping that his imigration story might shed light on his wife (married in abt 1897) Jennie Peletier LaMere Baldi's story. Joseph & Jennie had 2 chldren (that I know of) Dewey 1898-1977 and Jenny 1902-?

Searching for any information on Joe (Joseph) Baldi and his wife Anna. I'm guessing they were born in the late 1890 to early 1900 period. They had five daughters and one son. They acted as family to a friend of mine for whom I'm doing the search. He stayed with them probably sometime in the 40's and refers to them as Uncle Joe and Aunt Anna. He does not believe he is a blood relative, but has so little family, and so little knowledge of his early years, that he would like to know what became of them and if any of their daughters or son remember him. His mother is deceased.

As a child I use to go see her down the street from my Grandmother and I was told we were related. I remember seeing her in a wheelchair. She died the year after the summer my grandfather died. Does anyone know her maiden name or where she was from?

Surrounded by the family she loved, Mary A. Baldi Brunori, 87, of Ferry Rd., Old Saybrook, died on Thursday (November 27, 2003) at Hospice in Middletown. She was predeceased by her husband, Recceri; and her mother and father, Achilles and Anne Baldi. She leaves a brother, William Balocki of Kensington, , and her four daughters, Lorraine Sotire, Sun City Center, FL, Irene Heller, Centerbrook, Kathleen McGowan, East Lyme, and Diane Breslin, Killingworth. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. The funeral procession will leave the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home, 34 Main St., Centerbrook, on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. to Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 14 Prospect St., Essex, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Westbrook. From what I know, I too heard that all the Baldi's in this country are related - I have heard different tales about the original name in Italy, hopefully I could nail down the correct one. We have family all around the S. Jersey (Hammonton, etc.), Philadelphia and a little more southern. Hope any of this info. helps.

My grandfather - Thomas Donald Baldi - died Nov 27(?) 1995 - it was Thanksgiving weekend that year. My father, Donald Thomas Baldi was born December 28, 1949 I believe in Brigantine. Your story really freaks me out - I hope it is not a joke.

Donald Thomas Baldi also and he would have been born around the same time that your father was. His father Thomas Donald Baldi died about 5+ years ago. Seems like there is a couple of coincidences between our searches. The Donald Baldi that I am looking for should be in the New Jersey area. I grew up in Bflo N.Y. my fathers Name is Pascal Baldi. I met my father for the second time about 3 years ago. From what my god father and my dad tells me, all baldis are related from N.Y. down to Fl. all the way to Cali. My father had several chirldren all of which don'y see him except my self. My part of the family from what my dad told me is very very big!!!!! maybe there is some connection somewhere. I was born in Buffalo in Oct, 1974. Enrico Baldi went in U S A with his wife,he return in Italy for a trip, on 1920 with his 3 sons but they died for an epidemic. So he return in USA ,and never, never return in Italy.
My grand father told me this story of his

I recently got the bug in trying to figure out where I came from. My father is Donald Thomas Baldi, b. 12-28-49, his father was Thomas Donald Baldi b. - 1921? I am not sure who his father was but he had a birth certificate of his grandfather under the name of Guiseppe Baldo - born in Italy. I was born 9-28-76. It is my father's lineage which I desire knowledge about. I believe all of the family has remained in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. - He grew up in Brigintine NJ. Any help would be appreciated
