Hi! I think we are close relatives. May mother's family name is Baldomar. My grandfather Pelagio was from Roxas City, I just can't remember my great grandfather's first name but my grandfather's half brothers are Quirico "Riking" " Emin" and other from Roxas City whom I no longer remember. I was hailed from Upi, Maguindanao and my mother's name is Pilar " morit".

Curious to find out same as my family name, My Father's name is Ruperto O. Baldomar (deceased) his mother's family name is Orioque from Leyte. Most of my relatives staying in Bgy. Pitogo Makati City. Sad to say most of the sibling of my father are all gone now. May be one day I'll try to visit Leyte to look for my ancestry also.

Good day, I'm Joemarie Baldomar taga Bacolod City, Negros Occidental.Pero ang Tatay ko taga Roxas City, halos na pamilya ng ama ko ay nasa Iloilo. Ng nabubuhay pa ang tatay ko, minsan sinabihan n'ya kami na meron daw kaming pamilya sa Leyte, Bohol at Mindanao. Kasi ang lolo namin nagkahiwalay sa kanyang mga kapatid noong bata pa sila at nalaman n'ya na lang na nasa ibang lugar na daw nakatira. Hanggang sa namatay ang lolo ko hindi sila nagkita nang kanyang mga kapatid, sa ngayon ay dalawa na lang ang nabubuhay sa mga kapatid ng ama ko. Ang tito ko ay nasa edad 90-95 yrs. old, ang tita ko naman between 80-85.

Hey, Sal. My surrname is also BALDOMAR. My great-grandfather was born in Spain. My grandfather was born in Bolivia(Vallegrande, Santa Cruz de la Sierra) Then my father came to Argentina where I am living now. According to the surrname, there is a town in Spain called Baldomar, and I found out it is of german origin. But personally in the case of my family, I think, they are of sefardic origin (jews in Spain) and they had to change their faith and original name by political and religious questions. Then they came to South America as Catholics and they put themself the name of the town from CATALUÑA,Spain. May be they change their name a lot of times. I have reasons to believe in this because VALLEGRANDE was a place chosen by a lot of sefardis. regards BALDOMAR P.S. maybe your case is similar.

Anyone with information regarding the name Baldomar. My fathers name was Terzo Baldomar,
born in the Phillippines (Leyte). He had a sister named Catherine and a brother. (name unknown). Iwould appreciate any leads.
