This Levi Bales was my great grandfather. His daughter Emma (Bales)Pennock was my grandmother. Levi was from Illinois but later he and some of his children moved to Missouri after Addie died. We have always been told we were part Tuckahoe and have just found out it is from the Bales side of family but haven't been able to find out when or how. Have some info on Bales and some on Addie Shumard but would love to have more on both. Hope to hear from someone.
