My name is Peg. I am not a Balistreri. My 4th great grandfather born in 1769 in Menfi Sicily, however, was an Egidio Balistreri. I am descended from his daughter named Laurenza or Lorenza Balisteri who married a Vincenzo Scoma in Menfi in 1824. Her youngest brother was a Fabio Balistreri. She had a number of siblings who had sons named Egidio. I also know that the brother Fabio had a grandson named Fabio born in 1885, but these people were all in Menfi. It's possible, however, that some of their descendants were in other cities in Sicily, but I honestly don't know if that is the case. I just find it interesting that we have the same first names in our families.
