I am searching for John A. Huston b:01/09/1859 in NC to William and Sarah (Kyle) Hutson d/o John & Sarah Kyle living together in Limestone Township in Buncombe Co. NC. I found William to have listed in the Confederate Army on 04/12/1862 and died of disease on 02/02/1863 in Tullahoma, TN. I can find no further reference of his Wife Sarah. I did find John age 11 yrs old living with his Maternal Grandmother whose name was also Sarah (Sally) Kyle age 70yrs living with a Jessie A. Ballard and wife Macey (in the 1870 Buncombe Co. NC Census) and a Nancy Dawkins age 15.
I am searching for info as to what happened to John A. Hutson after the 1880 NC Census, or what happened to his Mother Sarah Kyle Hutson. I was also wondering if John and his Grandmother Sarah (Sally) was kin to the Ballard family.
