      <title>Balle in Iowa</title>
      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.balle/4/mb.ashx</link>
<description>I am searching for information about my great grandmother Edner (Edna) Balle. The only thing that I know about her is that she was born in Iowa in 1885. According to census records, her parents were also born in Iowa. She married William Provolt in Iowa. If any of this sounds familiar, please let me know!</description>

      <link>http://boards.ancestry.com/surnames.balle/2.3.4/mb.ashx</link>
<description>Erik Balle, it was wonderful to hear that you would do some checking for me. Are you related to these same people? We are now convinced that he didn't come to North America on the SS Sarmatian. Upon checking signatures, that was apparently another person. However, we believe he came sometime between 1873 and 1878, and landed at Ellis Island in New York City. I can hardly wait to hear from you.
