Found these references on a family RUST/RUSH website!!
There was a Robert Rust, lost son gone to help the recovery from the Civil War, a 40 year old merchant from Virginia with some VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE!!!
Found him in Travis County, 1870 TX Census!!
Also in the "BUNCH at the Boarding House" was
Dr. James M. Lysson/Lyssen of Scotland in the GORDON
HUNTLEY family along to help, also about same age, stating
39 from Maryland!!
Also, in the family was one OTTO BAUMGARTNER of St. Louis that went on down to Westfield/Spring with the Lutheran Church colony there. My beautiful Aunt Rose Marie Ferguson BAUMGARTNER who looked like Martha Ball Washington herself with the voice of an angel, a saint on this earth inspite of family squabbles still going on helped raise me on "Collie's" farm on Theiss Road, where Howard R. Hughes partied!
