Albert E. Ballew Jr.
Albert E. Ballew Jr., age 61, of North East,
died on Sunday April 5, 2009 at home. He was born on January 5, 1948 in Erie, Pa. to the late Albert E. Ballew Sr. and Dorothy Curtis Ballew.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Army.
Albert was employed as a maintenance mechanic at Welch Foods in North East for 36 years retiring December of 2008.
Albert enjoyed history,
NASCAR racing, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Randy Ballew.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years Connie Stitt Ballew who he married July 26, 1986;
sons Albert E. Ballew III and wife Laurie of Erie and Jeffrey S. Ballew of North East;
a daughter Jeanette M. Sudul of Ripley;
a sister Anna Mae Houser and husband Larry of Westfield;
six grandchildren
and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home 65 South Lake Street North East on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 and are invited to attend a funeral service on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Officiating Rev. David Kuchta.
