Mr. Seth P. Ballog
Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Friend. Mr. Seth P. Ballog, 79, of Lincolnville Road, Union City, Pa. passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2008 at St. Vincent’s Heath Center, Erie, Pa. He was born February 28, 1929 in St. Clairsville, Ohio the son of the late Joseph F. and Clara (Stephens) Ballog. He had owned and operated a potato farm in Crawford County, and also sold Lockwood farm equipment, as well as being a truck driver. He was former president of the Pa. Potato Growers Association, a former Union City School Board member, a former member of the Union City Lions Club and the 6-20 Investment Club of Union City, Pa. and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, Lodge #882, of Union City, Pa. He loved to fish and had a great sense of humor and will be missed by his family and all who knew him. He and his wife Patricia spent their winter months in Homestead, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph F. and Clara (Stephens) Ballog
and a brother Joseph Ballog in December of 1956.
Survivors include his wife Patricia (Noxon) Ballog of Union City, Pa. a son Seth Ballog and his wife Prudence of Union City, Pa.,
two sisters; Robin Ballog of Union City, Pa.
and Susan Rex and her husband Bob of Knox, Pa.
a grandson; Joseph Goszkiewicz of Union City, Pa.
a sister Darlene Emberg and her husband Leonard and a brother George Ballog and his wife Wanda all of Union City, Pa. No calling hours will be observed and a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Rev. Blair Blakeslee of Corry, Pa. will officiate. Memorials are requested to the Charity of One’s Choice.
