I've just discovered that a 1st Cousin (3 x removed) married a Samuel Balmforth...her name was Robina McGhee and her sister Maggie married his brother Frank Balmford.

Robina and Maggie's parents were Scottish and moved to Yorkshire.

Would be interested to hear from anyone with a connection.
