Looking for biological father.....

I have been looking for my biological father Robert Baltazar. I was born in 1956 in Los Angeles. My mother passed away in 1962 and I have one younger brother. I am 55 years old and was raised in Santa Monica,California. My mother's mother kept in contact with my father with out me knowing. She passed away with all the vital information I need to find him. For Health History as well.

My grandmothers last name is Baltazar. Unfortunately she passed away when I was younger so I never got to ask her about our family history. All I know is that her father, my great grandfather, was polish. Would love it if I could find some long lost cousins.

My father is from a small town in Mexico named: Calvillo, Aguascalientes. He is son of Jeronimo Baltazar and Maria Salasar. They both had nine children, of which two already passed away. From what I understand, my great grandfather was too young at the time and never found out his real last name. But I think the story goes like so: My grandfather's father and siblings were adopted by a lady whose last name was Baltazar (perhaps she could've been married to a man whose last name was Baltazar). Therefore, when growing up as a kid my great grandfather always used Baltazar as his last name. I'm not exactly sure if that's how the story goes, but I'd like to get in contact with anyone that has family from this area and whose last name is Baltazar and might know of this story or something similar. I'd just really would like to learn what our real last name is and where it comes from...even though through so many years of being Baltazar, Baltazar feels like our real last name. Thank you!

My grandfather, Alberto Baltazar is from Jalisco Mex, he is from a small town named Cuzalapa. I think I have heard my parents speak of some Elizondo's who are also from Cuzalapa.

Quite a coincidence in the first names of our Grandfathers. My Grandfather's name is Gregorio and my father's name is Victoriano.

My Father's family is from Guerrero. My grandparents split up a long time ago and so my grandfather, whos name I dont remember has more sons and daughters in the states surrounding Guerrero. My father's name is Cervando Baltazar Montoya

I had family living in Nevada. But they spelled their last name Baltazor. My grandparents were married in Winnmucca.
Maybe we should share more information to see if this is the same family.

My father is Gregory Baltazar. I have an uncle Victor and an Aunt named Jeannie. There's a few more aunts and uncles but I rememeber their names...some live in Fallon, Nevada if that helps.

DoD Identifies Marine Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Lance Cpl. Christopher S. Baltazar Jr., 19, of San Antonio, Texas, died Sept. 3 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

For additional background information on this Marine, news media representatives may contact the II Marine Expeditionary Force public affairs office at (910) 545-5718.

My father is Jose Baltazar, from Michoacan Mexico.
His siblings are Rafael, Alicia, Norma, and 4 other brothers I can't remember their names at the moment.
