Hello My name is Marcia ,I am trying to conduct a research on my father's side of the family.My father was born Clay Baultrippe in Calhoun ,Georgia in 1930.
My grandparents names were Clay Baultrippe Sr. and he was born in Tennessee about 1900 0r 01 and My grandmother Alice Malde (Johnson)Baultrippe was born in Georgia 1907.
I am so lost with this research and it has been frusturating because My father died when I was in my early 20's and He never really spoke about his childhood.So I dont really know too much of anything.
I have looked and looked for other Baultrippe's who I am not already related to and the ones who are listed on here with the spelling (Baultrippe) I have been related to and it donned on me that the spelling of the last name was probably alternated.
I never heard of my grandfather Clay having any siblings so I dont know who is all out there.All that I know was that his parents were born in Tennessee as well.I donot have their names either.If anyone has anything similar in their family and know of being related to a Clay Baultrippe or any Baultrippe who was african american or mixed raced person who was born in Tennessee in the early 1900's or late 1800's.Let me know.My family has been trying to do research for as long as I can remember.
