a great grandson to my great granparents, One of them was

Balz or Baltz, it shows up both ways in many records, she was born : 31 May 1838 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany and died : 15 Dec 1909 in Jerseyville, Jersey County, Illinois.

Her husband, was : Johann Mode, John here in the USA.,
John Mode was born : 19 Dec 1832, in Bavaria, Germany, and died : 7 Feb 1908, in Jerseyville, Jersey County, Illinois.

I'm writting to any of your BALZ, family's to see if any of you have or ever have had a Christiana Balz or Baltz spelling in your family tree matching this information???

I can't find anything in the old country of Germany for either of them, balz or baltz or even my great grand father Johann aka john mode.
