Hi Moira,
My ggrandfather came to US in 1880's. I have not found when. His name was Patrick McGladrigan and he was born
in Tyrone, Ireland about 1864. His parents were Thomas
McGladrigan and Elizabeth Cullen. He married Margaret
Clair and their children were Phoebe Clair McGladrigan and
Thomas Benjamin McGladrigan. There were babies that
died in infancy. Most of this info I was given by Catholic
Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I can put you in touch with someone who is also a
McGladrigan in Australia that I have been communicating
and sharing information with over the past year.
