My G.G.G.Grandfather is Hubert Bernards born in 1822 and died in 1884. He came from Germany and lived in Dane Wisconsin. My father, Raymond Louis Bernards, is the Great Great Grandson of Hubert. My father was born in 1927 and remembers visiting the Bernards family in Minnesota in the early 1930's. He also mentioned the name Gertrude Klings (which might be the Klingel family). He also mentioned the name Bolter (which might be Balzer. I might be reaching a little bit but when my dad was a young boy in the early 30's and his recollection might be off.

Please let me know if there maybe a connection.

Susan Bernards
