BANACH, Edward L.:
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9:15 from the Newman Funeral Home, Inc. &at 10 o’clock in St. Hyacinth’s Church where the Rev. Michael J. Parker celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial. Bearers were Richard Szalkowski, William Kubasik, David Pleszewski, Marc Vestal, David C. Branson III and Phillip Slominski.
Readings from the Old &New Testament were given by Sister Rachael Mikolajczak.
Gift Bearers were his grand-daughters, Amy Branson, Brianna, Kasey &Ashley Vann.
Interment followed in St. Hyacinth’s Cemetery
where military honors were accorded by the Dunkirk Joint Veteran’s Council. The Color Bearers were Joseph Ricotta, Ronald Joy &David Dow. The Rifle Squad consisted of Sgt. At Arms Robert Mleczko, David Huels &Kenneth DeLong.

Sandra Tapasto served as Chaplain &Karl “Skip” Sealander as Officer of the Day. Bugler Peter Chudzik sounded last call. Commander Richard Makuch presented the flag to Mr. Banach’s
