My Grandfather was Jacob Feckter, married to Elizabeth Becker and we think he was from Weisskirchen. He immigrated to the US and married Elizabeth here. We are in ST. Louis and I am trying to find more information on Jacob. We can't seem to find anything more than he was from Weisskirchen. He had a Brother named John. I haven't heard anything about wine or from wine country. I wonder if we are talking about the same Jacob. I would like to talk more if you think there is a connection.
