I'm doing some research on early settlers in Knox County,OH. I have a Richard Banbury (b 27 Jul 1791, Devonshire, England; d 28 Aug 1875, Union Twp, Knox Co, OH) m Mary Cornish (b Aug 1795, Devonshire England; d 03 Jul 1877, Union Twp, Knox Co, OH) in about 1814 in Devonshire.
They emigrated to America in 1832 and purchased land in Knox County. They had at least 6 children, with the older 4 being born in England and the younger two in Ohio: Charles (1815-1896), Mary A, Elizabeth, Richard, John C (1832-1894, OH), and Hannah (OH).
I have information on Charles and John C, but on none of the others. If anyone out there has any of these people in their linage, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks!
