My Granmother Emily Emma Baines was born in Potton Bed's about 1872. This is her full name on her marriage certificate when she married Charles Ernest Greenwood in 1897. The only other source that I have her on is the 1891 census as Emma Baines in service. I can't trace her father mentioned deceased on marriage certificate. The only Emma "Banes" born in Potton 1872, whose Birth Certificate I have only mentions her mother, I know this maybe because father was unknown!! Any ideas on how I might find more info in this regard?
