Ervin Edwin Baney b 1885 in Hutchinson County, South Dakota, married Johanna Hafner. Ervin was the son of Edward J. Baney and Sarah Mellinger. Edward was the son of Michael Baney and Catherine Strachmaker (sp). Edward J had a brother, Isaac, who married Mary Beck - that's the direct line for my research.
